Bean Paste (Daen-Jang)

Bean Paste is called "Doen-Jang" in Korea, which is a traditional Korean fermented soybean paste, used for stew-like traditional recipes and seasoning. It's similar to Miso in Japan, but it is thicker and rich in flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, and other nutritions. and has more various beneficial bacteria (like the ones in yogurt). How to Use :

Keep it refrigerated. For dipping sauce / seasoning sauce, mix it with garlic, sesame oil, chopped hot pepper, and a pinch of sugar. For traditional Korean stew, use it in beef or veggie broth (boiling) with chopped tofu and various vegetables.
